This means that the new special edition version of the micro SUV will feature a camo green paint scheme on the outside, possibly with a black roof. The ‘CAMO’ badge will be placed on the front fenders of the car. The teaser video also confirms that it will feature black alloy wheels along with black wing mirror caps.
Inside the cabin, the Punch Camo could be offered with leatherette seat upholstery with unique Camo edition badging. The update is expected to be limited to visual enhancements only, which means that the Punch will remain mechanically unchanged.
Tata currently offers the Punch with a 1.2-litre three-cylinder NA petrol engine that puts out 86 PS of max power and 113 Nm of peak torque. The transmission options include a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT. The Camo edition could be based on the top-end Creative variant of the Tata Punch, just like the Kaziranga edition, which means that it will likely be offered with all the bells and whistles.
The Tata Punch is priced from Rs 5.93 lakh to Rs 9.49 lakh (ex-showroom), and rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Citroen C3, Mahindra KUV100 NXT, among other similarly priced hatchbacks and SUVs in India.
