Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 spotted again: Fresh details emerge

Royal Enfield is working hard towards bringing the Himalayan closer to its production version or so do suggest the frequent spy images of the bike surfacing. A new set was posted by TeamBHP and shows the new and bigger Royal Enfield ADV with accessories including adventure panniers. this is the first time the test mule has been seen with accessories and fresh details have come forth with these clear images.
This time, the Himalayan 450 is seen with an aluminium top box and panniers. Accessories have become a norm with Royal Enfield motorcycles ever since the 650 twins were introduced and are developed alongside the bike development itself. These luggage accessories will most likely be available for the upcoming Himalayan 450, alongside other accessories like touring seats, mirrors, cosmetic upgrades, along with the tripper navigation pod which could be an optional extra. as well.

The new images also reveal that the rear indicators seem to also serve the purpose of DRLs and brake lamps as well. The test mule does not seem to have a separate tail lamp for brakes. The Himalayan 450 could also be the first Royal Enfield to feature an LED headlamp (if it’s launched before the upcoming 650cc cruiser). Another change will be that of the brake lines which should be steel-braided unlike the rubber ones on the current generation Himalayan.
There’s more. the new Himalayan‘s test mule is seen with a round instrument cluster which is mounted higher with a design somewhat like the Meteor 350 (with a round digital screen within and an analogue speedo. The test mule, however, looks far from ready yet, so it could be a while before a formal introduction.
