Petrol price in Delhi is Rs 96.72 per litre, while diesel costs Rs 89.62 per litre. One litre of petrol in Mumbai costs Rs 106.31 per litre and one litre of diesel is priced at Rs 94.27 per litre. In Chennai, petrol price stands at Rs 102.63 per litre and diesel costs Rs 94.24 per litre. Petrol and diesel in Kolkata are priced at Rs 106.03 and Rs 92.76 per litre, respectively.
Retail petrol and diesel prices vary from state to state due to the local taxes, including VAT or freight charges.
In other news, Indian Oil Corp (IOC) is planning to maintain its 3,00,000 barrels per day (bpd) at Panipat refinery in Haryana that includes a naphtha hydrocracker shutdown for around 80 days and half of the crude processing for over a month, according to sources.

From Monday, IOC will shut down the naphtha cracker at the Panipat plant, said sources. The cracker consumes over 2.3 million tonnes of naphtha as well as produces 8,57,000 tonnes of ethylene.
On Friday, Brent crude futures were up by 16 cents or 0.2%, to trade at $90.62 per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures were up 22 cents to $83.71 per barrel.
