Mahindra Scorpio N waiting period reaches 2 years! Details explained


Mahindra recently announced that its new Scorpio N deliveries will begin from Dussehra on October 5, 2022. The company will primarily deliver the first batch of 25,000 units, mostly Z8 L variants by November 2022. Here are all the details about the waiting period of the Mahindra Scorpio N in India.
The company has introduced the Scorpio N in five variants- Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8, Z8 L with petrol and diesel engine options. Both engine options come mated with a manual and automatic transmission as well as select variants get AWD system.
Mahindra Scorpio N Z2 waiting period – 22 months
The waiting period for the Scorpio N Z2 base variant is 22 months for petrol and diesel variants. It comes equipped with features, such as halogen headlamps, LED tail-lamps and second-row AC vents. The Scorpio N Z2 variant is priced between Rs 11.99 lakh – Rs 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra Scorpio N Z4 waiting period – under 2 years
The next-to-base variant, the Scorpio N Z4 gets a waiting period of under 2 years. Priced between Rs 13.49 lakh to Rs 16.49 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom), the SUV has received features, such as an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ESC, cruise control and more.
Mahindra Scorpio N Z6 and Z8 waiting period – 2 years
Customers who want to buy the Z6 and Z8 variants of the new Scorpio N have to wait for 2 years. Standard features on the Z6 include a sunroof, connected car technology and drive modes. The Z8 variant gets additional features, such as curtain airbags, leatherette interior as well as powered mirrors.
The Mahindra Scorpio N Z6 is priced from Rs 14.99 lakh – Rs 16.95 lakh, while the Scorpio N Z8 price ranges from Rs 16.99 lakh – Rs 21.90 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 L waiting period – around 20 months
The higher-spec Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 L variant is in higher demand, owing to which has been given priority in the first batch of delivery. Both the petrol and diesel variants of the Z8 L have around 20 months waiting period, lowest among all the variants.
Besides, the Mahindra XUV700 has a long waiting period with the higher-spec AX7 L having 16 months waiting period. Moreover, the company has silently reduced the prices for select variants of the XUV700 by Rs 6,000.
