Fuel price today: Petrol and diesel price in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru on September 14 |

Petrol and diesel prices have remained stagnant across Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru on September 14, according to the latest price notification issued by Oil Marketing Companies. On May 21, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had announced an excise duty cut on petrol and diesel by Rs 8 per litre and Rs 6 per litre, respectively. Later on July 15, Eknath Shinde, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra announced a Value-Added Tax (VAT) cut on petrol by Rs 5 per litre and on diesel by Rs 3 per litre.
Today, petrol price in Delhi stands at Rs 96.72 per litre, while diesel costs Rs 89.62 per litre. After the VAT cut, petrol price in Mumbai now is Rs 106.31 per litre and diesel price stands at Rs 94.27 per litre. In Chennai, petrol and diesel costs Rs 102.63 a litre and Rs 94.24 per litre, respectively. Petrol and diesel price in Kolkata stands at Rs 106.03 per litre and Rs 92.76 per litre each.

Crude oil prices
Brent crude was down 80 cents to trade at $93.20 a barrel, while WTI crude fell 77 cents to trade at $87.01 a barrel.
In other news, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has signed a MoU with the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) and will give Rs 50.22 crore funding for trans-continental relocation of Cheetahs from Africa to India.
